After spending years watching my grandfather design and produce wood carvings, I fell in love with this art form.  I started carving in 2010 after graduating with my BFA in Sculpture from the Cincinnati School of Art and Design.  At first, it was just a hobby, but it soon became a passion.

Each carving is designed, carved, and painted in my shop in Ohio.  I use wood scraps from various places for some designs and “found” materials, but primarily use Pine, Basswood and Poplar.

Much of my inspiration comes from American and European folk art as well as from my grandfather.

Thank you for visiting,

Tim
